Mary Frank Elementary Earns State Recognition for IREAD Achievement
Posted on April 17, 2026Mary Frank Elementary is being recognized by the state for strong reading performance on the latest IREAD assessment.
The Indiana Department of Education recently honored schools that achieved a 95% or higher pass rate on the third-grade reading exam.
Mary Frank earned a 98.2% pass rate, securing its place among Indiana’s top-performing schools.
The recognition was announced during a statewide literacy celebration held over spring break last week. Because of the timing, P-H-M representatives were unable to attend.
Mary Frank’s results are part of a larger trend of growth across P-H-M. In 2025, 93.7% of third graders passed IREAD, a significant increase from the previous year.
That progress reflects a continued commitment to strong literacy instruction and targeted support for students.
This recognition is another example of #PHMExcellence in action.
