Plain Text Version:
What is One Book, One School? One Book, One School is a schoolwide reading initiative that brings students, staff, and families together through a shared love of reading. Each year, the entire school reads the same book, accessible across multiple reading levels, to spark imagination, discussion, and community connection. This year, the program will feature “Me, Frida, and the Secret of the Peacock Ring” by Angela Cervantes.
Students and staff will receive a copy of the book and participate in a fun kick-off, scheduled readings, classroom discussions, optional at-home projects, and opportunities to earn prizes. Families are encouraged to read together and engage in conversations and creative activities related to the story. All program details and activity links are on this page and will be shared on ParentSquare.
Happy Reading,
Mustangs!
